SUPPORT THE SITE
Back to Calendar
PDX Meets is free to use and free to post on, and it is run by one person
out of Portland. The server, the domain and the mail all cost money every
month whether or not anybody posts a meet --
$23.90 a month
as it stands, itemised further down. If the site has been useful
to you, here is where to say so.
This was never built to make money.
Nobody draws a wage from it. What comes in goes to keeping the site
alive -- the server, the database, the flyers, the mail -- and
anything past that goes into building the Android and iOS apps, so the
calendar ends up somewhere easier to reach than a browser tab.
CHIP IN
Every link here opens in a new tab and reaches the same person. Any
amount genuinely helps, and none of it is a subscription unless you
pick one that is.
WHAT IT COSTS TO RUN

$23.90

Running since August 2026, which is
3 months --
$71.70 spent on it so far.
A yearly bill is counted a twelfth at a time, so this total is
what the site has actually owed rather than what any one card
statement said.
WHAT HAS COME IN
Donated so far

Donations go against the figure above, which is the bill this
site actually runs up. Nothing here is a wage.
Anything else -- including how to reach whoever runs this -- is on
the
contact page.
Free ways to help, if money is not the thing:
post the meets you run here so people can find them, tell whoever is
organising to do the same, and
say when something is wrong rather
than working around it. A calendar is only worth reading if the meets on
it are real, which is a thing only the people who go can tell us.
